This guide provides a comprehensive overview of the various blocks available for enhancing your ClubSite, making it easier to showcase testimonials, images, and important information in a visually appealing manner. By utilising these blocks, you can create an engaging online presence that effectively communicates your club's offerings and fosters member interaction.

Double Testimonial Carousel

The Double Testimonial Carousel allows you to add testimonials to your ClubSite. You will add an image for the testimonial, usually this would be an image of the person who's given the testimonial. You can then enter the customer name and the actual testimonial text.

You're able to add extra testimonials by using the "Add Slide" option at the bottom.
This is how the Double Testimonial Carousel will display on the ClubSite.

Gallery Carousel

The gallery carousel block allows you to add images and a title for each image. You can add up to 9 images. These will display as a carousel on your ClubSite allowing users to scroll through.

Gallery

The Gallery block allows you to display up to 9 images in a 3 x 3 format.
This is how the Gallery Block will display on the ClubSite.

Text with Multiple Images

The text with multiple images block allows you to include both a piece of text along side up to three images. You can choose which side of the block the text should display and then whether the images should automatically cycle through or not.
The Text with Multiple Images block will display like the below. If only one image is added then there will be no scroll ability on the images and only the one added will display.

Club Diary

The Club Diary block is Premium Only. This block allows ClubV1 Users to share their diary on their ClubSite.
The Club Diary block will show like the below.

Scorecard Block

The Scorecard block allows you to select a course that you wish to display on your ClubSite.
The Scorecard block will display the Tee Sets for your course. Each Tee Set will be colour coded with the colour selected in the course settings.

Single Testimonial

The Single Testimonial block is similar to the double testimonial carousel however it will show one testimonial at a time. You have the option to add multiple testimonials in here but they will show individually.
This is how the Single Testimonial block will display on your Clubsite. If you have multiple testimonials, this will be converted into a carousel to show the additional testimonials.

Side by Side block

The side by side block is a Premium Only block and allows you to add text and an image side by side. You can add further rows and alternate the side that the picture is on.
The Side by Side block will show like the below on your ClubSite with your selected image, and then a heading and description text.

Carousel

A full width/height carousel of images with optional text overlay. Add up to 6 images to cycle through
This block is ideal as a landing page at the top of your home screen. You can add an image and overlay text welcoming viewers to your ClubSite.

Contact Form

The contact form allows website visitors to send an email to the club. You're able to select what information you wish to capture from the user by enabling/disabling the input fields options.

You can also enter up to 5 recipient emails, these are the email addresses that will receive any communications sent through the contact form.
This block will also display your club details on the left. This block is perfect for a 'Contact Us' page.

Club Sponsors Block

This is a Premium Only block. The Club Sponsors block allows you to display each of your sponsors on.
Your Club Sponsors can be set up in the Sponsors section located under the club heading in ClubV1.

This is how your sponsors block will display on your ClubSite.

Document Block

This is a Premium Only block. The Document Block allows you to upload a file for download on your ClubSite.

When setting up this block you will be asked to select a Folder and then from there select the document you wish to make available for download. You can then add some 'Link Text'. This will be the text which needs to be selected to download the document.
For a document to be uploaded onto your Clubsite, you must first upload your document in the Club > Documents section of ClubV1
This is how the block will show. This block is useful if you have a menu for example that you wish to make available on your website.

Prospects Block

This is a Premium Only block. The Prospect Block is for allowing users who are visiting your website, to register their interest for a membership at your club. The prospects block is designed to capture information about the user and then email your club about the new prospect.
This is how your prospects block will display on your ClubSite. The telephone, message and date of birth fields are optional and can be toggled in the block settings. When someone submits this form, an email will be sent to the 'Email Notification Recipient' and a contact record will be created in ClubV1.

Table Block

The table block allows you to add a table onto your ClubSite. These tables are especially useful on pages such as a Membership Fees page.

You're able to add rows and columns by simply selecting the appropriate button. If you wish to delete a row or a column then select "Edit Layout". You also have the option to import from CSV if you already have a table made in excel.
This is how your table block will display on your ClubSite.

Hole by Hole Block

This is a Premium Only block. The Hole by Hole block allows you to select a course that you have created in ClubV1 and will show the information regarding each hole of this course.
The more information you enter about each hole when setting up the courses, the better the block will look. The Hole by Hole block will display a the Hole Number, name, description, the "Pro's tip", the image as well as each tee set's par, yardages and stroke index.

If you're missing a description for the hole or a pro's tip for example, the block may look a little bare.

Embedded Web Page Block

This is a Premium Only block. The embedded web page block is designed to render content from another website using iFrame. You're able to enter a URL of a page that you wish to display on your ClubSite as well as having the option to manually adjust the iFrame width and height if necessary.
As you can see below I have embedded HowDidiDo into the ClubSite meaning HowDidiDo users could log in and use HowDidiDo through here.

Text Block

The text box is for simply rendering plain text on your ClubSite. You're able to add a block header and description. The description box allows for basic text formatting such as aligning the text left or making text bold.
This is how your text block will display.

Slider Block

The Slider Block will allow you to add "slides". Each slide can have an image, a header, a description and a URL.
This is how your Slider Block will display on your ClubSite. 3 images will show at a time and then the block will either automatically cycle through if the setting is selected or the user can manually cycle through by dragging the images.

If an image has a URL and the user selects the image, they will be redirected to the URL. You can link this to other pages in the ClubSite or to other websites.

Open Competitions Block

The Open Competition block allows you to advertise your upcoming open competitions on your ClubSite.

When setting up the block you can choose the "Ribbon Colour" and the "Ribbon Font Colour".
When viewing this block on your clubsite, by default the ribbon or background colour will be orange and the text will be white. These can be changed by using the option when setting up the block.

If an open competition is currently bookable on HowDidiDo then it will display on this block. The competition name, date, competition type and acceptable for handicap status will show. Users will also be able to see when the competition can be booked until.

Selecting "Book" will take the user to HowDidiDo to make their booking.

Course Status Ticker

The course status ticker is a simple block. You can either choose to show or hide this in the set up.
The Course Status set on the ClubV1 Home Page will scroll across the screen and will update in real time with the course status.

This block fits well above or below the Carousel block or Single Image Block as part of a landing page so it's the first thing your website visitors see.

Club News Block

This is a Premium Only block. The Club News block allows you to select a Club News item that you wish to display on your ClubSite.
This is how your Club News item will display on your ClubSite. The headers, titles, date, image and description will all display.

Single Image Block

The Single Image Block is another simple block. You have the option to add an image, add a header and add a subtitle. Similar to the Carousel Block, this block is ideal for a landing page as you can adjust the image height to fit the screen, add the banner text across the image, enable a parallax effect and enable a 'Scroll Down' option.
The Parallax Effect means that when enabled, images will appear fixed as the user scrolls the page to create a layered effect. So instead of the image scrolling with the page, the page scrolls over the top of the image.
This is how the block will display.
