Batch Clone Competitions

This guide provides a straightforward process for cloning golf competitions on the ClubV1 platform, making it easy for users to replicate events from previous years. By following these steps, golf organizers can save time and ensure consistency in scheduling while also allowing for adjustments to competition names and dates.

1. Available to Premium and Ultimate Product Levels.
   
   The Batch Clone Competitions feature enables the selection and cloning of multiple competitions from the current or previous year, assigning them a new date in the future. It is intended for use at the year's end when setting up competitions for the forthcoming year, which is why the "New Date" suggests a date for the next year.
2. Navigate to [https://www.clubv1.com/Home/MyHome](https://www.clubv1.com/Home/MyHome)
3. Click "Golf"
4. Click "Fixtures"
5. Click "Batch Clone Competitions"
6. The batch clone competitions list will display a list of competitions from the current and the previous calendar year.
7. You can use the slider to select which competitions you would like to clone.
8. Click "Continue"
9. The next screen will first of all allow you to change the name of the competition if needed but will automatically populate with the name of the original competition.
10. The "New Date" field will be automatically populated with a new proposed date which is as close to the previous year date as possible, e.g if it is the third Sunday of June 2024 the new proposed date will be the third Sunday of June 2024, if it is the fifth Monday but that month next year doesn't have 5 Mondays then we will put it on the last Monday of that month.
    
    The "New Date" can be changed manually if required.
11. Click "Clone Competitions"
12. The competitions will be cloned on the date "New Date" as you can see below.
