Competition Charge Items

This guide offers a straightforward approach to creating and applying competition charge items, making it essential for efficient competition management.

Creating a Charge Item

1. Click "Golf"
2. Click "Competition Charges"
3. Click "Add Charge"
4. Click the "Description" field.
5. You will now see an "Add Competition Charge" screen. This is where you will name your charge.
6. Click "Add"
7. You will now see your charge item in the list. Once this Charge Item has been applied and paid for in competitions, this page will show which competitions, the total debit, the total credit etc.
   
   From here you can also Edit and Delete your charge item.

Alternative Method

8. In the Charging step of a Competition Wizard, there is an option for "Create New Charge Item"
9. New options will then slide down, you can enter the name for the new charge item. You can then select "Add" to add the charge item or select "Cancel" to cancel.

Applying a Competition Charge

10. Once you have a charge item created, you can now select this in the competition wizard on the "Charging" step.

Mandatory and Optional Charges

11. Competition Charging allows you to configure two types of charge items: Mandatory and Optional.
    
    - Mandatory Charge Items: These are charges that all bookers are required to pay when signing in to a competition.
    - Optional Charge Items: These charges give bookers the flexibility to decide whether or not to pay for them during the sign-in process.
    
    When Competition Charging is enabled, the Mandatory Charge Item drop-down menu is displayed by default. To include an Optional Charge Item, click "Add Optional Charge Item" at the bottom of the menu.
12. If you will be using Optional Charges, the "When to charge for item?" option MUST be set to "Sign In".
