Removing Current and Previous Discounts

Removing Previous Discounts

Previous Discounts would be displayed in a person’s Current Charges section:

The previous discounts will be taken off when you raise the Annual Bills, you will see that in the Bill Info there is an option to ‘Include Previous Discounts’. If you select No to this then this will wipe them if you select Yes then the previous discounts will then be applied to the Annual Bill:

Please be aware you can only remove Previous Discounts with the method above – when raising an Annual Bill/Bill Run. You will not see this option when raising an individual Bill.

Removing Current Discounts

You can switch off current discounts from the Global Charges tool:

1) If you go to Finance > Bill Charge Items > Standard Charges > Global Charges. Ensure you tick the ‘Show discount settings’ box at the top.

2) Now in the list of charge items, find the charge you want to apply the discount to and click on the ‘No Change’ button (This ensures that you are not making any changes to the actual subscription charge). This should open up the Discount settings underneath. You should see: No Change, Clear Discounts and Replace Discounts.

3) Click on Clear Discounts – then go down to Continue. Now you will come to the People section, use the filters to your left to bring up the people you want to clear this discount for. Once you have finished here advance to Save & Continue.
