The Global Charges feature in ClubV1 enables users to activate or deactivate charge items, modify their prices, and apply discounts in bulk. This ensures that members are billed accurately during the annual billing process.

Click "Finance"
Click "Bill Charge Items"
Click "Standard Charges"
Click "Global Charges"
The first step in the Global Charges Wizard is where you will select which changes you wish to make on mass. A list of all your charge items will appear along with a set of actions.
If you wish to turn off a charge item all together then on this screen you will select off.
If you wish to update the price of a charge item for specific people, then you can select 'Fixed'
Selecting 'Fixed' will allow you to enter a new amount
Selecting 'Cat. Default' will revert the price of a charge item back to the default price set for the category in the Charge Items section.
You can also add discounts to charge items here by first of all enabling the "Show Discount Settings" slider
Once the slider is enabled, select a charge item row to expand the discount settings
You will now see a new list of actions relating to the discounts.
Selecting "Replace Discounts" will allow you to add a discount to a charge item. You can select either percentage or amount for the discount.

In this guide we will be adding a 10% Discount to the Subscription Charge Item.
You can also add a description for the discount which will display on the members current charges section. We will use the example "Loyalty".
You can add the value for the discount on the right hand side. Below I have added a 10% discount.
Click "Continue"
Step 2 in the Global Charges Wizard enables you to select the individuals to whom the changes made in step 1 will apply. As demonstrated, I have applied the filter to a single individual.
Click "Continue"
The final step of the wizard will ask you to confirm that you want to apply the charge item settings to X people, X being the number of people included in the filter in step 2.
Viewing the person record that was included in the filter, you can see that there is now a discount in the current charges section for 10% of the Subscription amount.
